‍Hi I’m Nicola,

I live in Cheshire with my husband and our two daughters. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree with Qualified Teacher Status and have over 20 years of teaching experience, working closely with children and families throughout my career. With a background in teaching and child development, supporting children and families has always been at the heart of what I do. I combine this professional knowledge with real-life parenting experience because I understand first-hand how overwhelming sleep struggles can feel.

I've been there myself. The bedtime battles, the night waking, the early mornings, the constant second-guessing, and the exhaustion that seems to touch every part of family life. I know what it feels like to dread bedtime, to spend hours trying to settle your child, and then lie awake worrying about whether you're doing the right thing. I understand how isolating it can feel when everyone seems to have an opinion, yet nothing appears to be working for your family.

Like many parents, I turned to books, social media, blogs, and endless online advice, hoping to find the answer. Instead, I often felt more confused and overwhelmed. There was so much conflicting information that it became difficult to know what to trust or where to begin. Everything changed when we reached out for support. Having someone listen, understand our situation, and provide a clear, gentle plan made all the difference. Within just a few days, things began to shift. Sleep slowly returned to our home and, with it, bedtime no longer felt overwhelming, nights became more settled, and we all started waking feeling more rested. We had more patience, more energy, and more time to simply enjoy being a family again. It showed me just how powerful the right support can be.

That experience is one of the reasons I created Tiny Tiptoes Sleep Consultancy. My aim is not only to help children sleep better, but to support parents too. I know that every child and every family is unique, which is why I offer gentle, responsive guidance tailored to your child's needs and your family's values. My goal is to help you feel reassured, supported, and confident as we work together towards better sleep and calmer days for the whole family

The Tiptoe Approach

How can I help you?

I trained with The Sleep Consultant Academy and hold a recognised qualification through AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group, allowing me to offer evidence-based, emotionally safe sleep support that feels calm, realistic, and respectful. Rooted in child development and shaped by real parenting experience, my approach focuses on gentle, responsive strategies such as gradual retreat and comforting through change methods supporting your child while helping you feel confident every step of the way. Together, we break sleep down into small, manageable steps, creating lasting and sustainable changes without overwhelm, pressure, or harsh methods.

At Tiny Tiptoes, I believe better sleep begins with feeling supported, reassured, and never alone.
